Gastone Crea, MD
Medical Director
Board Certified Interventional Radiologist
Dr. Gastone Crea graduated from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in 1992. He completed a Radiology residency program in 1997 also at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine and affiliated hospitals. From there, he went on to finish a fellowship in Vascular and interventional Radiology at the Albany Medical Center in 1998. Prior to joining American Access care full time, he worked ten years at a large, tertiary care medical center performing a variety of vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures.
Dr. Crea is board certified by The American Board of Radiology with a certified Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He is a member in good standing with the society of Interventional Radiology for over ten years and is currently licensed in the states of New York, Connecticut, and Florida. Dr. Crea has an academic appointment as assistant professor at The New York Medical College.
Yvonne Dang, MD
Board Certified Interventional Radiologist
Dr. Yvonne Dang completed a fellowship in interventional radiology at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Dang has served on the staff of Department of Radiology, Division of Interventional Radiology, New York Presbyterian Hospital Cornell Weill Medical Center, New York, New York for the past seven years.
As the Fellowship Program Director for the Department of Radiology, Division of Interventional Radiology at the Weill Cornell Medical Center, she was responsible for teaching numerous residents and fellows. She has participated in a number of fibroid research projects at Weill Cornell and conducted many lectures on the subject.
Frank Tarantini, MD
Vascular Surgeon

After graduating from Manhattan College with a degree in Biology, Dr. Frank Tarantini obtained his medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, New York. He completed his residency in surgery at the SUNY Health Science Center in Brooklyn, New York and his combined vascular and endovascular fellowship at SUNY Health Science Center. He is currently an attending vascular surgeon at the New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn.
Dr. Tarantini joined American Access Care in 2006, caring for and treating dialysis access disorders including fistula thrombectomy and fistula maturation. He is an expert in the field of fistula creation. He participates in cutting edge research involving the use of laser light and radiofrequencies in the treatment of vascular and micro vascular disease. He has published and presented several papers at meetings such as the New York Society for Vascular Surgery and the Enrico Asher Vascular Fellow meeting.
He also evaluates and treats patients with vein and arterial diseases. He is at the forefront of treatment modalities including Radio Frequency or Laser Vein closures, sclerotherapy injections, and peripheral arterial angioplasty and stenting.
Dr. Tarantini is a member of the American Medical Society, NY State Medical Society, Richmond County Medical Society, New York Society for Vascular Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
