Noam Spinowitz, MD

Dr. Noam Spinowitz earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2002. He completed his residency and became board certified in Internal Medicine from the Montefiore Medical Center in 2005.

From 2005 to 2007, Dr. Spinowitz attended New York University School of Medicine to complete his Nephrology fellowship. During that time he took an interest in the care and maintenance of the dialysis access for his patients. This culminated in a month-long research rotation with American Access Care of Brooklyn, with Dr. Gregg Miller as a mentor, specifically focusing on the physical exam and the diagnosis of arterio-venous graft and fistula dysfunction.

After becoming a board-certified Nephrologist, Dr Spinowitz was trained for one year as an Interventional Nephrologist under the tutelage or Dr. Miller and Dr. Shur in the Brooklyn and Manhattan offices of American Access Care.

Dr. Spinowitz has completed thousands of access related procedures. Some of the more intricate procedures he performs daily include fistula maturation, MILLER banding procedure (for dialysis associated Steal Syndrome), and distal radial artery coil embolization (for Palmar Arch Steal Syndrome).
